Robot art is sort of cool, but I'm trying to find some good robot stuff to blog on and I see a cool robot, so I click on the picture. Then the site tells me, oh, it's just a fake robot that doesn't exist. It gets frustrating. But, I guess robot art did give me something to blog about, didn't it. Anyway, here's some examples of this so called robot art.
Hiroshima has developed their fifth robot fish! The robot koi carp. This robot has fluid tail movement and is remote controlled. This robot is the same as a koi carp except that it, the robot, can rotate in place and swim backwards while a koi can't. This is a pretty cool innovation, but where is it gonna come in handy? It's not like they're gonna hire people to remote control fake fish in a pond outside a mall everyday. Well, I guess you never know. Maybe they'll make an autonomous version. Maybe batteries are cheaper than fish food. Check out the pic.
A robot fish in an aquarium? That's right! A robot fish was tested in London's aquarium! Sweet!

The Robo Vacum is an awesome robot. It's tiny, and it scoots around, vacuuming up your messes. Also, it's only 16 bucks! Buy here!
This is an awesome robot kit that is cool just because it is only twenty bucks. The robot works, but doesn't look very smooth. Check out the video... don't watch it all because it's long.
PLEN is a tiny desktop robot that can rollerskate and skateboard! He's on sale for 2000 dollars. Check out this video.
The Tomy i-Sobot is the smallest bipedal robot in the world. It isn't that expensive at 230 dollars, and it comes with a great software that allows you to make pre-programmed actions occur when you press the buttons on the remote control. I think a couple of these would be great for robot battles.
