Hiroshima has developed their fifth robot fish! The robot koi carp. This robot has fluid tail movement and is remote controlled. This robot is the same as a koi carp except that it, the robot, can rotate in place and swim backwards while a koi can't. This is a pretty cool innovation, but where is it gonna come in handy? It's not like they're gonna hire people to remote control fake fish in a pond outside a mall everyday. Well, I guess you never know. Maybe they'll make an autonomous version. Maybe batteries are cheaper than fish food. Check out the pic.
further detaled expalanation about the design please???

Anu - The koi robot is 80 cm (31 inches) long and weighs 12kg (26 lbs.). The fish is equipped to analyze water quality, take pictures with a CCD camera, and is designed by Ryomei Engineering - a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Industries. Thanks for asking! J-Man
