Chevy Camaro Leaves Ford Mustang Sales in the Dust

Don't underestimate the power of commercialism at the movies!  Thanks in part to Chevrolet's marketing in the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen flick, the cash registers are ringing at Chevy dealers across America.  Ka-ching!

For the first time in 16 years, the Chevy Camaro has outsold the Ford Mustang -- 9,320 to 7,362.  Now the question is, do you think the Camaro can maintain its lead over the ever-popular Mustang?  Or will Camaro sales fade like a falling star?  

I think I see the beginnings of a muscle car rivalry here.  Whose side are you on?      

2010 Chevy Camaro Plays Hard to Get

Don't you hate it when you have your heart set on something, but you just can't get it?!  Well, according to USA Today's article published on July 29, 2009, Chevrolet is struggling to keep up with the demand of the hot 2010 Camaro.  

Popularity has been fueled by the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie in which Shia LaBeouf drives a sweet yellow and black Camaro concept car.  This car is HOT so it's no wonder that consumers are itching to buy one!

Don't expect to see many (if ANY) on the showroom floors, though.  Most dealers were only given one car and are taking orders only.  Last we heard, the wait for a 2010 Camaro is about 3 months.

Ten Greatest Hot Car Video Games

When I'm not blogging about cool cars, I'm sometimes playing video games that have great cars in them, including muscle cars, mod cars, classic cars, etc.  So, I decided to throw out a list of ten awesome video games that feature some sweet cars.  I haven't listed the games in any particular order - I'll let you decide for yourselves which one is the best!  Watch it because some of these video game titles might take you way back - Original PlayStation and Sega Games!  I think you can find some of the greatest cars of all time in these video games like the classic Camaro, GTO, Ford Mustang, and Porsche 911 Turbo.  What do you think?

This car is high quality...except for the handling.  I especially like the gas mileage, which is almost as good as an "economy" car's gas mileage.  The Audi TT starts at $66,000 for the Audi Hardtop and $72,000 for the Audi Convertible model.  Gee, my wallet feels better now - NOT!

The 2009 Nissan 370 Z has a starting price of around 29,000 dollars.  This car, the new model of the 350 Z, has both pros and cons to it.  The cons are that it has massive blind spots and the V6 gets coarse at high rpms.  The pros are that it has razor handling and its little V6 gives out 17 more horsepower than the 2010 Mustang.  Oh yeah.

I accidentally said on my post about the 2010 Camaro that it was four wheel drive.  It's actually rear wheel drive.  Sorry!
