Grand Theft Auto V Release Date Hinted At In Teaser [Video]
The Grand Theft Auto V Teaser came out recently, I have it after the jump, and it does more than just get us excited – it may provide some very interesting information. As in, the release date for Grand Theft Auto V may or may not be May 24. Watch the video, and try to look for some of the clues pointing to the hinted release date. (I’ll reveal some after the video, but not all of them are in the video, in fact, most of them are not blatantly shown.) Also, don’t miss some awesome action shots of wind turbines and oil pumps, as well as a homeless man with a cardboard sign. (Ah, the ordinary things in life make all the difference. Just not as much difference as the parts with cop chases and big explosions.)
The Grand Theft Auto V teaser trailer tells us one of two things: RockStar Games is obsessed with the birthday of their core founder, or the game is coming out on May 24. At 0:54 in the video, you can see the number 2405 on the curb, which implies the day in question. Also, the song that plays during the teaser, “Nut Gone Flake”, was released on May 24, 1968. Coincidence? I think not. Also, Sam Houser, one of the main RockStar guys, has a May 24 birthday. Thus, they either really like Sam Houser, or the game is being released on May 24. It’s really that simple.
We hope it’s the latter.
