Zizm Watch By Nooka Refracts The Light With Crystal
The Zizm watch by Nooka uses its crystal face to refract light and give a unique appearance to its four different bars, which are used to tell the time. (As a result of the bending of the light, the bars appear broken and distorted in some places.) The top 2 counters are for the hours, the 3rd is for the minutes, and the 4th is for seconds, if you feel the need to be precise. The watch is available in both Titanium and Blue colors, and is available for a $375 pre-order from Nooka. If you decide that you have to have the Zizm, the watch will ship on October 24th, so you don’t have very long to wait before the product is readily available.
Zizm Watch By Nooka
To go along with the overall sophisticated feel of the watch, Nooka decided to deck it out with a silicone strap. Notice the watch face – it appears to be modeled after a vintage radio. I appreciate the style choice there, but think that the Zizm could have turned out even cooler if they had maintained the futuristic minimalist design that they executed perfectly with the refracted crystal watch face. The Titanium version is exactly the same except the face is not blue – it is more of a grey/black color. Still cool, but I would definitely have to opt for the Blue Zizm, since the Titanium is too plain for my style, which would be cramped by the lack of color. Also, the lack of calcium, which is causing my style to get osteoporosis. Just not as “hip” as I used to be, I suppose. *Curls up even more over the keyboard.”
