Ring Clock Concept Design: The Time Is In Your Hands
The Ring Clock concept design is a unique product plan created by Cyber of CGSociety that puts the time in your hands by putting a watch on your fingers. The Ring Clock, if put into production, would be made of stainless steel and come in two varieties: a dark ring featuring an orange light and a more silver ring featuring a blue light. Does anyone else find it strange that minimalist designs often feature the classic TRON colors?
The Ring Clock features a three-band rotation design – one band for seconds, one band for minutes, one band for hours. There’s a strip light under the rings that lights up the current time so you can easily tell that wonderfully attractive woman who asked you that its 4:23:32. (I might leave off the seconds if you don’t want to seem like a complete geek.)
If these Ring Clocks were to be mass produced, I would definitely ante up the cash for one. Watch concepts decorate the internet like Christmas lights, but this is a design that really stands out from the rest like a sore thumb. A good sore thumb, of course, if that really exists – perhaps a better analogy would be a bright light in a sea of death and despair.
In the meantime, if you’re looking to buy a ring clock, there are a few kinds available on ebay at the link below.

I want one ot these clock rings..They look like they could be expensive …are they available in any way or will they be in the future….Is there a list I could be put on to be notified if they become available…? I have never seen any ring or clock so cool…I really hope if there not available they will be in the near future…If they have the ring and it works I would wonder what is stopping production even if they would do it with an ordering service so they do not over produce…It is so beautiful and would be such a nice conversation piece..I especially like the lighter color one with the blue lights…Please advise and Thank you for your help.
Sincerely Dennis
Hi Dennis, no sorry, these are just concepts and the chances of production are very low
