Picto Watch By Rosendahl Brings Minimalist Design To The Max

You can’t any more minimalist than the Rosendahl Picto Watch and expect to be able to tell the time.  In fact, you’ll probably have a hard time being exact with the Picto watch, seeing as there are only two pieces on the entire watch face: a hand, and a dot.  The dot shows the hours, while the minute hand tells you the minutes.  (No, I did not mean a “hand” hand, I meant a watch hand.  Some of you got too excited at the mention of a severed hand…)

The Picto watch was designed by Steen Georg Christensen and Erling Anderson, and is not a concept.  This is one of the first awesome watch designs you can actually buy, but you’ll need to shell out $165.  The device comes in red, white, black, and black with silver lining, in case the red shown above just doesn’t fit your style.  (My personal favorite is the black, since it accents the minimalist design with the white to black contrast.)

I have a challenge for you all: at what time was the picture above taken?  My best guess is 10:13, but I’m incredibly bad at reading minimalist watches.  If you have a guess, put it in the comments section, but just know that you’ll never know if you’re right or not, because the answer remains hidden.  ”THE ANSWER IS MAN!”  No, that’s the riddle of the Sphynx – nice try, though.  This is the riddle of the watch that looks like a broken game of Pong.
