People are down in the dumps.  People are also upset about the most recent series of Apple announcements.  (Hey, you never know what kind of awesome hats you may find while dumpster diving.)  Let me clear something up: there’s no reason to be upset!  Stop your small children from crying, and wipe their tears – it may look the same, but the iPhone 4S is packing a punch, and some new features, that are completely foreign to the previous generations of iPhone.

iPhone 4S – Siri, The Intelligent Assistant

I recently had a guest author write about the iPhone 4S’s new virtual assistant application, so I won’t go into too much detail.  What I will say, though, is that this is NOT JUST AN IMPROVED VERSION OF VOICE CONTROL.  Many bloggers and ordinary people, both of which have no idea what they’re talking about, are dismissing Siri the Intelligant Assstant as “more of the same.”  Have you been able to say to your iPhone 4S, “remind me that my dad’s birthday is on May 9th,” and have it set a reminder on that day for the event “Dad’s Birthday”?  Because if you have, you must be tripping on some crazy substances.  Or I got majorly ripped off and got the Chinese Hi-Phone or something.

A5 Dual Core Processor + More

 

 

The A5 processor packs a Super Street Fighter IV-style punch: this thing is a dual-core processor.  The 4S also has a new dual-core GPU, which can (supposedly) run seven times faster than the previous one featured in the iPhone 4, a major bonus for people looking to waste their lives on Infinity Blade.  1080p resolution?  The iPhone 4S has it.  Faster data downloading?  How does 14.4 mbps sound?  DELICIOUS?  Because if it doesn’t, you can just help me finish this set of Denny’s fried pancake balls.  These – these are always delicious.  They may not be able to play YouTube videos or listen to what you say, but they can fill up a stomach faster than you can run a mile!  But they can also decompose before you get halfway, since you move like a legless rat.
