The Gold Xbox 360 Controller, which is a modded controller being auctioned off for $80 on eBay, is really not my thing.  Gadgetcustoms is a top-rated seller, so I’m sure the controller and the rapid fire functions both work great, but the design isn’t really jiving with me.  If you were going to spend a solid $80 on a modded Xbox 360 controller, why would you go for the “all gold” look as opposed to a controller with custom LEDs and buttons?  The Gold Xbox 360 Controller seems like a strength overdone, but I know there are tons of people who dig the “decked out, all gold” look.

 

 

Please note this before you bid on the Gold Xbox 360 Controller: the shell is not actually gold.  Some readers may be rolling their eyes, but I would bet my life my friends’ lives that there were people who assumed they were getting a great deal on cheap gold.  I’ll tell you something, my friends.  If this were real gold, I wouldn’t have posted on this controller, and would have “Bought It Now” so I could melt it down in my basement and store it up for those rough times we would experience in the event of a Zombie apocalypse.
