Star Wars The Old Republic is possibly the most costly MMO game ever created.  It has the potential to be the best MMO, and already has an extremely large following that should help it explode.  LucasArts has just revealed the Star Wars The Old Republic Release Date, and I know you’re all dying to know what it is.  (I like the suspense that I’m creating here.)  The release date for the biggest MMO of the century is… December 20, 2011, in North America, and December 22, 2011, in Europe.

You heard it, little boys – start writing your Christmas list, and make sure to tell your parents that you need a monthly subscription in addition to the game.  ”Wait – there’s no SANTA?”  Chris, you’re 27 years old – grow up, man.  ”THEN WHO ATE THOSE COOKIES I PUT OUT???”  Oh – that was me.  Hey, I really love that set of Star Trek vids – I’ll return it to you next Christmas when I break in and steal your cookies again.

 

Also announced were the prices of subscription – there are three available lengths.  For a one-month subscription to Star Wars The Old Republic, it’s $14.99; for a three-month subscription, it’s $13.99 a month; and for a six-month subscription, it’s $12.99 a month.  So, the more time you waste playing TOR, the more money you save.  I’m going to save a lot of money, I can tell you that much.  Yes, hi, I was hoping to sign up for the 43,920 month plan?  Yes, I did the math, and I should have to pay $.21 per month.  No, this is not a prank call.  Yes, I’m wearing lobster undies – wait, HOW DID YOU NO THAT!  *Rips off shirt and dives into the backyard pool*
