Becky, codename DJBlastazPoppinInYoHood Beyx, has created an awesome set of Button Eyed Video Game Characters on DeviantArt.  She has all five generations of Pokemon Starters, and the pictures I’ve uploaded below.  I thought they were cute, but they’re beginning to remind me of the movie where they replaced peoples’ eyes with buttons.  Now they’re reminding me that I’m fired.  Wait – never mind, that’s just my boss.  He fire’s me all the time, I just keep coming back and he never says anything!

Of course, he doesn’t pay me either, but it’s a quiet space to work on my blog.  Plus eat the donuts that my buddy brings for his lunch, since he’s gullible enough to believe that ants keep carrying them away.  ”What’d you just say?”  Oh, nothing, Mitch.  Nothing.  Except that the world is ending in five minutes.  ”EVERYBODY OUT OF THE BUILDING!  GET INTO THE VENTS AND CRRRRAAAAAWWWWWLLLLL!”  Works every time.  Somebody taze that little nut!  He’s distracting me from my work.

My favorite button eyed video game character artwork is the tails picture shown right above this line of unnecessary text.  It looks like he sees something funny and is trying really hard not to laugh about it.  Knuckles just looks like he wants to beat the living daylights out of some unsuspecting person, and Sonic looks like he doesn’t have any thoughts at all.  Inside Sonic’s Head:  “I wanna run I wanna run I wanna run I wanna run I wanna run I wanna run SQUIRREEEELLLL!  …  I wanna run I wanna run I wanna run.”
