The Black Monkeys, a group of programmers, have created Battlefront 3!  Actually… they made a mod for Cod 4 that we can all pretend is Battlefront 3.  Star Wars Galactic Warfare is the greatest video game mod I have ever seen, hands down, but it only works if you have Modern Warfare for the PC.

 

 

Black Monkeys have built seven classic maps, including Mos Eisly, Bespin, Jundland, Anchorhead, and more!  The kill streaks are now Star Wars themed.  (For example, there are Y-Wing and Tie-Fighter bombing kill streaks.)  There are custom Star Wars grenades, custom Star Wars characters, and custom Star Wars guns.  If you forget that this is a modded version of COD 4, it’s just as good as Battlefront 3.  (Without the jedi and troop countdown features, of course.)

If anyone from LucasArts reads this, hear my words loud and clear.  EVERYONE WANTS TO PLAY BATTLEFRONT 3!  There’s nothing better than kicking back and blowing up some separatists with your buds.  Everyone who wants a Battlefront 3 made, leave a comment.  Then, I’ll do something to pester George Lucas about it.
