Plick Project Puts Lego Mindstorm NXT In Its Place

The Plick Project is, in my opinion, a better approach to DIY robot-building than the Lego Mindstorm NXT series.  It allows for the use of programmable LEDs, sound sensors, distance sensors, wheels, and more.  All of these pieces can be connected by stretchy rubber pieces that can be wrapped around any object.  You know what else can be wrapped around any object?

Designed by Gabriel Parciornik, the Plick Project is not available to the public yet, but will be soon if any toy-producing company has an ounce of sense.  There’s no telling how expensive it would be, but I’m guessing it would cost a pretty penny like the Mindstorm NXT robots.
