Pixel Racer is a retro app that is available for both the iPhone and the iPad.  At $1.99, Pixel Racer gives you 24 different tracks to race on and 10 different cars to choose from.  Don’t believe people when they say that these cars have different stats – in reality, the only thing that makes one car different from the next is color and speed.  (Basically, the higher the speed of the car, the more difficult the game is but the better scores you can get.)

 

 

 

This cool app, developed by Daily App Dream, makes me laugh.  Do you want to know why?  In the iTunes description, it says, “Think your a hardcore gamer?”  They spent so much time developing a professional app, and then they make a grammatical error in the description.  I love it!  All nonexistent grammar skills put aside, this is a fun app that encourages you to keep playing and beat your best times for each of the 24 levels.  I couldn’t finish a single level, save the first one, with the Fire Dwarf car – Speed: 10.  You basically need to memorize the tracks to use it.  It’s like the Robot Unicorn app – a fiery death awaits you.  *tear rolls down my face.*
