Rainbow Gel Pens, Colored Pencil Lead … A Series Of Brilliant Ideas

I was sitting down and doing some math, just for the fun of it, and I noticed something.  I happened to notice that I was writing with a drab mechanical pencil which produced a drab grey color on a drab white piece of paper with blue lines.  I figured that I needed to add some color to my math without increasing the permanence of what I was writing.  (I make a lot of mistakes in math.)  Then, an idea popped into my head.  What if I had a set of pencils which had colored lead!  No, not like a colored pencil.  A regular pencil with colorful lead.  Just then another brilliant idea came into my head.  (I must have a lot of brilliant ideas.)  What if I had a pen that would change its ink color as I wrote!  I started drafting blueprints and getting patents.

Sad-faceHow Unfortunate.  The Little Man’s Idea Is Unoriginal.  What A Shame.

As you can tell by the title, it turns out that someone has already invented both of the gadgets which I had “come up with” in my mind.  Raymond Geddes invented a Rainbow Gel Pen, and UniBall already sells colored pencil lead.  (As in, pencil lead that is a special color.  In case you didn’t get it the first time.)

That Raymond Geddes Guy Even Offers A Good Price!

For only $23 on Amazon, you can buy 50 Rainbow Gel Pens!  Inside the pen, there are six colors of gel ink.  When you write, you will only write in one color, but once a certain amount of ink runs out, the pen will use the next pocket of ink, which is a different color.  The pens also come with “comfy grips” and are available in six different colors.  (All of the colors are the same as the six colors of the ink.)  Purple, yellow, orange, pink, blue, and green are the vibrant colors available to you.  Pretty cool.

Uni-ball I Heart Uni-ball

Though I have never in my entire life seen any store selling colored pencil lead, it is available from Uni-ball.  This awesome product is available in cyan, green, pink, red, blue, and assorted.  Rock on!  $3.oo for a set of lead.
