The Apple iScroll Concept By Maximum Tech

Apple iScroll Concept – Assuming Ends Badly In Most Cases

I assume that many of you have read, or at least heard of, the Maximum Tech magazine.  Well, this super cool magazine came up with a great concept - the Apple iScroll.  (Specifically, the article is written by Paul Curthoys.)  If you haven’t read the article, basically Maximum Tech is predicting that Apple will develop something called an Apple iScroll.  The article states that it resembles a “tall, skinny iPhone.”  But the catch is that you can pull out the side and there’s a giant bendable FOLED touch screen scroll!  Then they made up a bunch of features for it which I’m not going to spoil for you.  Go buy the magazine if you want that info.  That’s irrelevant here – I’m here to not retell the story, but to analyze it.  Like in English class.  Ah … the good old days.  The Odyssey RULEZ!  (Not really.)

I Was Too Cheap To Buy MobileMe And Now I’ll Pay The Price.  Literally.

For all of you who wanted to know about the specific features that Maximum Tech attributed to the iScroll, you’ll get one of them now.  They said that the iScroll, instead of having any “onboard storage,” will constantly sync to your “cloud,” a.k.a. mobileme account, and save all of your stuff.  This feature would not appeal to me mainly because I do not have mobileme, so how on earth would I be able to store my data!  I suppose I’d have to fork over the money, which would not be a big sacrifice, given all of the coolness that comes with the Apple iScroll.  (Theoretically, of course.)  That’s the only downside I see to this cool gadget concept.

Bad Hand Jokes And Manufacturing Advice

I hope that Apple makes sure that the pull out scroll can lock into place, because I only know two people with four hands, and I don’t know how you would hold the thing open and use it at the same time unless you were one of those select few gifted with many hands.  Did I just say I know two people with four hands?  I’m sorry… that’s not accurate.  I only know one person with four hands.  He’s a great guy.  He’s a handyman.  He can really be a handful sometimes, though.
