Being AT&T’s Contract Prisoner Is A Real Bummer

The R2-D2 Motorola Droid Phone is out!  Yes!  (This is feigned excitement for me because I’m stuck in an AT&T contract and real excitement for those of you who are not.  Shame on you, AT&T.)  This is basically a Droid phone that looks like R2-D2.  The back of this cool phone is R2-D2 Style, and the front is just a touch screen – the sides are silver.  The QWERTY keyboard is still black, but the letters have this really cool white and blue combo going on.

The phone also comes with R2-D2 earbuds and a Star Wars dock.  But what’s even cooler than all that is the random easter eggs that Verizon has packed in.

The R2-D2 Droid Phone by Motorola has special Star Wars ringtones and wallpaper!  There is also some kind of Star Wars widget that comes installed in the phone also.  This cool phone varies in price based on your contract and other boring things.  I can’t even find a standard price.  But it’s around $200.
