The WowWee Femisapien Robot is an alteration of the famous WowWee Homosapien, with a couple of major differences.  One, the FemiSapien is, as its name implies, feminine – representing women in the world of robots.  Two, the FemiSapien does not have a remote control.  Three, it’s a great dancer and singer.

WowWee Femisapien Walks Like A Woman!

The FemiSapien Robot is famous for its walk, which could be categorized as an intense “sashaying” or swagger.  I don’t know if changing its walking style to look feminine was worth the reduction in speed, but these types of robots were never extremely fast anyway.  Also, the FemiSapien, which is equipped with infrared sensors, can detect faces.  If a face is detected and one of her hands, which serve as controllers, is pressed, she will blow you a kiss.  Isn’t that dandy?

No Remote Needed

Like I said earlier, the FemiSapien does not come with a remote control.  Instead, its head and arms serve as joy sticks.  If you buy this, I would strongly recommend not throwing away the manual, because it can be very difficult to remember how to get her to act the way you want.  For example, to have the FemiSapien follow you, you have to face its head forward and press on both hands.  If the head isn’t facing forward, it won’t work.

She’s Musical Too

The FemiSapien, in addition to following you, can dance with you!  Just hold both of its hands and guide it in the direction you want to dance.  Finally, she is a beautiful singer.  If music is detected, the FemiSapien will dance and become a background singer!
