The First Flying Car – Not Really – The Kyosho J-Kart Remote Control
Flying Japanese Car Helicopter – We Didn’t Think It Could Happen, But It Has
It’s a car! It’s a Helicopter! It’s Japanese! It’s the Kyosho J-Kart Remote Control Vehicle! The Kyosho J-Kart has the ability to speed along the ground like a car and, with the push of a button, take off into the air like a helicopter! This is a really cool gadget: it reminds me of some of the things I’ve seen in some really cheesy spy movies.
It’s All About What’s On The Inside
The Kyosho J-Kart has a button on its remote control that makes the helicopter blades spin even faster than they are in the normal mode, which makes the J-Kart take off! I applaud the engineers for being able to find the exact speed at which the blades need to be spinning for this cool RC toy to start flying. They were able to make the car look like it’s driving by having the blades spin only so fast – the J-Kart goes forward but can’t take off without the extra power. Brilliant!
If you’re driving on a table, feel free to go right off the edge, but click the button quickly or you’ll probably break your $90 gadget. That would be a bad thing for you, and a great thing for the company that’s raking in the dough. This RC doesn’t look particularly cool, I hate the designer’s color choices, but I assure you that it’s performance is stellar.
