There are two things you need to know about the Balaenoptera Musculus RC Boat.  One, it is awesome.  Two, it is named after the Blue Whale.  Yes, you did need to know the second thing … This cool RC boat is one of the only electric boats I know of that can go 25+ mph!  This thing is like Michael Phelps except you feed it electricity.

The Balaenoptera Musculus RC Boat is nearly two feet long and has a sleek design.  The boat comes in three different color combos: blue + red, black + red, and yellow + green.  It has three channels so you and two of your friends can race Baelnoptera Musculus RC Boats at the same time.

This RC Boat requires a 7.2 V rechargeable battery pack, which isn’t really that expensive.  But you might want to buy a couple of those because I’ve been told that the boat runs out of charge fairly quickly.  If you have more than one charged, you can just do a swap out.  The boat itself is around $50.  This price is definitely worth a boat that goes over 25 mph.  The remote needs 8 AA’s.
