Electric Concept Car: BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics

It gets 62 miles to the gallon.  A Prius? No.  It goes 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. Yes, I am talking about the same car in both statements. I know you are all confused.  I could understand your confusion if the title of this post wasn’t BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics Concept Car!

This baby has a diesel engine and a high power lithium battery to make it a green, lean, really fast and expensive machine.  I’m going to tell you why it’s green, show you that it’s lean, and demonstrate that it is a very fast and expensive machine.

Despite the fact that the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept Car’s diesel engine is only 6.6 gallons, you won’t need to fill up your tank very much.  This is because this car can travel 400 plus miles with just that one tiny tank of gas.  That’s insane!  This is due to the already mentioned fact that it gets 62 miles per gallon.  The Lithium Battery is 10.8 kWh and only takes 2.5 hours to charge in a European socket.

Finally, the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept Car has amazing aerodynamics!  There is barely any air resistance on this machine. In fact, the drag factor is a low 0.22.  Overall, this is an amazing concept car that looks good and runs even better.  I can’t wait until this BMW is on the market, even if it is crazy expensive.
