This electronic venus flytrap toy is a robot flytrap that actually eats flies.  A sensor detects when a bug is present in the chamber and it closes the "mouth."  After the fly is devoured, it goes into a small area at the bottom of the robot.  There, kids can see all of the bugs their fly trap has caught.  You can help them release them either to a habitat or back out to the wild blue yonder.
